What changes the price?
Roof size, access, shape, material choice, skylights, chimneys, removal and hidden damage all affect the total. Insulation labour qualifying for the reduced rate can have 9% VAT on homes older than two years; materials and other roofing work have 21%. The quote specifies the applicable VAT.
Are these fixed quotes?
